PS. And I have found many video for our character movement and style. Have a nice weekend XD.

For the question we asked last time, Kat's reply:

"That is a very interesting reference and I think it serves as a good
reference. From the reference, I would suggest that you can animate most of
the arm actions by classic tweening the arm symbol, while it has more
complicated distortions, you can do it by drawing frame by frame. Try to
work out with the director and animation director, and see which scene in
the story would be most suitable to apply such movement. Should you have
more questions, please let me know
."

Animation design reference

We have studied in today's meeting(24/6) for the motion and gusture's reference.

creativity/animation event

Our group joined a creativity/animation talk in Disneyland Hotel on last Friday.
The speaker is Mr. Patrick Lin, Director of Photography – Camera, Pixar Animation Studios.
Patrick shared views on his creativity process and personal career development path.
After the talk, we know that the story is the soul of the animation rather than technical.
Also, we know more skills of making animation process. It is useful for our future.

The new start, new reference

Guys,

I have found the new reference for the character, art style, animation style design.
Please check it out on the right-column list and we will discuss at the 8th meeting tmr(24 Jun 2pm).

PS. Please capture and save to JPG what you feel it is interesting and great style.

New function

Guys,

For the more efficiency and easy looking schedules, I add the new function call DIPITY, which can set our work flow as a time line, or flip book.
It can also add the video sources on it.

Please feel free to edit it.

Presentation

After the presentation, we can improve our presentation skill on next time.

-more eyes contact

-use short sentence

-don’t speak the script directly

Beside this, we know that we may waste time because we are not developing the story together.(But we chosen the concept1 and develop it already.)

-avoid the character turn around

-use more 34fp of the character >> more comfortable
-use outline to hide the joints e.g. more tapering or use different border

-can use brush to outline

Concept 4 - Amazing venture

Guys,
After the presentation, please upload the sketch and design to blog.
